Blister
Repair |
No
matter what size project you have for your boat, we can do the job.
Complete paint job for the topsides, deck or bottom. Custom interior
joinery, new teak and holly sole, installation of tankage. We have
the experienced craftsmen to give your boat the care it deserves.

| Blister
repair is a problem no boat owner wants to have to go through,
|
 |
|
but
inevitably most boats will have some blister repairs during
the course of its life. Whether it is a spot blister repair
or a major repair, we are set up to handle your boat. For
spot blister repairs, we will grind the affected areas to
get to dry laminate, fill and fair, prime and paint these
spots. If the bottom has numerous blisters, we will use a
plainer to cut the bottom paint and gelcoat off to get to
the laminates. The boat is air dried to less than 5% moisture,
and apply the Interlux Interprotect barrier coat system and
bottom paint.

Our
canvas shop is full service...from repairing the stitching on your
power boat's bimini or sailboats' mainsail cover to complete fabrication
of a new bimini or dodger. Whatever your needs are in canvas, the
Cedar Mills Canvas Shop can do it!

To
the north side of the Valiant Factory lay-up shop you will find
the most experienced paint staff and the only dedicated fiberglass
painting facility on Lake Texoma. No job is too big or too small...from
gelcoat scratches to complete topside refurbishing and custom non-skid.
Hull and keel fairing, barrier coats and bottom paint...all are
professionally applied. And when it comes to fiberglass work...you
name it...you will not find anyone who does a better job than the
pros at Cedar Mills and Valiant Yachts.

BOUND
This
Stiletto 30 Catamaran came to Cedar Mills Marina for a complete
hull and deck custom paint. The hull and deck was stripped down
and primed. The deck was painted a Imron White and new hatches installed.
The hull was painted Imron Black with custom painted Imron Silver
stripes. Then the custom painted Imron White and Silver wings were
painted on the bow port and starboard side, hence HEAVEN BOUND!
Cedar Mills Rigging Department installed all of the standing and
running rigging, tunning the boat to perfection.

and bottom paint, boot and cove striping designed to suit
the customer's own creative wish. The Cedar Mills Paint Team
worked together to create a work of art!

Metal
Fabrication Shop
On
the south side of the Service and Parts Department and Rigging Shop
building, you will find the Cedar Mills "fab" shop. This
shop produces custom bimini and dodger shapes to custom traveler
bridges, backing plates, pulpits, davits and radar arches...you
name it! The capability to design and engineer everything from the
very simple to the extremely complex gives Cedar Mills tremendous
flexibility in meeting our customer's boating needs. The shop is
also capable of welding aluminum and stainless steel. If you have
a custom request, don't hesitate to contact us.
Rigging
Shop
We
are a Navtec dealer, so if there is any rigging you need for your
boat, we are the shop to serve you. We have a swage wire/rope up
to 3/8 inch. Our Navtec cold head machine can handle up to dash
40 rod. We can fix or repair one-piece rigging or replace all the
running and standing rigging on your boat. If you need a halyard,
we are splicing experts.
